Delete Your Alehra Account
If you would like to request deletion of your Alehra account and associated personal data, please follow the instructions below.
How to request deletion
- Email us at info@alehra.com.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Include the email address or phone number associated with your Alehra account.
- If applicable, include your organization or practice name so we can identify the correct account.
What happens next
After we receive your request, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing the deletion request. This helps protect your account and personal information from unauthorized deletion requests.
Once verified, we will process your request within 7 business days, unless a longer period is required by law, security review, or an applicable contractual or regulatory obligation.
What data will be deleted
Subject to applicable law and our regulatory obligations, account deletion generally includes deletion of:
- Your account profile information
- Your login and authentication records associated with the account
- Documents or files you uploaded directly to your account, where eligible for deletion
- Other personal information associated solely with your user account
What data may be retained
In some cases, we may retain limited information after account deletion where retention is required or permitted for legitimate business or legal reasons, including:
- Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection logs
- Records required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit, or regulatory obligations
- Backup or archival copies retained for a limited period before secure deletion
- Data that has been de-identified or anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably identify you
For example, security logs may be retained for up to 30 days, and certain backup data may remain in secure backup systems for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Healthcare and regulatory records
If your Alehra account is connected to a healthcare provider, clinic, or organization, some records may need to be retained by that provider or organization to comply with healthcare, medical record, billing, insurance, or other legal requirements.
In those cases, deleting your Alehra account may not result in immediate deletion of records that the provider or organization is legally required to retain.
